The DU Domain...?

Well, I am surprised at the different results I get using the URLs:

http://www.du.ac.in/ - The Official DU Website

and

http://du.ac.in/ - The Official University Grants Commission Website

Wonder how this is possible...Can someone throw some light on this...?
