Budget Simplified - A Child's Perspective
The effect of budget on my Pocket money.
Daddy is on tour and mummy says after daddy I am the man at the house.
So I am reading the Economic Times. It is a pink paper and there are pictures and language even I understand. And they are saying farmers could get free loans and I like farming. And duties might be reduced on computers so no more going to cyber café.
And there might be less customs on gold and diamonds so mom will be happy though dad wont be.
And Rs. 6000 crore would be for education. 6000 crore is 6 followed by 10 zeros. Enough to buy our school and many more. If I have so much money I d make everyday a holiday.
And petrol will cost more. Which means I will have to walk which is very bad. And gas will cost more. So mom will cook less which is very good. And if taxes are more my pocket money will be reduced which means no sweets or Harry Potter films.
And when mom saw me reading The Economic Times she got very happy and said you are a big boy now and she gave me two mooli paranthas which I think is very, very bad.
The End.

Any idea how this has happened...?
To that Mr. X replied, "I just became a member of that group and didn't even go on to see what the group looked like etc., and then I went offline."
What might have been the reason for this or in other words how is this possible? (anyone)

First thoughts on sampleX.kmv.edu
1) WHY are YOU making this website?
2) WHAT does this website INTEND to DO?
3) WHO is going to USE this website? and HOW?
B. Style / Aesthetics: Needs work. We need to look like a college website. Credibility and authority are very closely related to aesthetics*. Since this is an .edu site, this is a VERY important issue. The important thing is to have the design (A) clean enough so that we can modify (B) independent of (A). One way to do this: Use XHMTL/CSS.
C. Use: Apart from being a brochure like everything else on the internet, does this have a purpose? e.g.: 1) attract international students? 2) establish an online identity for kmv? 3) foster intra-collegiate communication? Would like thoughts.
D. Maintainability: Who maintains the site? Does it die once it is up? or is there a web team?
I would appreciate if I can get thoughts / comments from whoever's involved. That includes faculty, if any. Once we have these ground facts covered, we can take this ahead.

(*'net's down here, or I'd link to a very nice study about this. But it's common sense anyway, you'd rather believe someone telling you about the missing coefficients in the theory of relativity if they look like Einstein than if they look like Britney Spears.)
